An Inquiry Into Crimes Of The Previous Administration

This will not occur. The reason given is that we must preserve social concord and peace; we need to cooperate together to meet the future. The truth is that we do not know Right from Wrong anymore. If such an Inquiry were to occur, it would make our Moral Irrelevance clear to everyone, and that can not be allowed.

Some of us, even some in the present administration, know Right from Wrong. The fact of the matter is that bipartisanship and the "end of the old way" sound good, and our new president has a broad idealistic streak. It probably bothers him a great deal that we're morally irrelevant. Obama has not yet learned that you cannot partner with scorpions. He will. He's a smart guy.

I heartily agree.
However, I also heartily disagree.

No one knows right from wrong. That is why we have sinned so greatly, and that is why we are being punished, not with whips and cudgels, but with the lash of scorpions - so great are our transgressions.

Immorality is an addiction.
We - unfortunately - are being brought down to the absolute bottom. Then we may learn.

I say we don't know right from wrong, but I actually am a fool and know almost nothing.
I only know we have sown the wind, and now are going blindly as harvesters to reap the ensuing storm.
