Tax Cut Stimulus

Senator McConnell said Sunday that we can not raise taxes on anyone in the midst of a Recession, forgetting that earlier this year some Governmental department in charge of such things had declared that the Recession was over... or was that last year?
This is Republican stimulus: billions in tax cuts for the stated purpose of creating jobs and ending the Recession, a recession which has already been declared ended.

You can not create jobs fast enough to employ all those who have been put out of work due to radical changes of the economy itself. 80% or more of unemployment is now due to need for less workers due to automation and other improvements. 10% unemployment is a generations long phenomenon; it is not temporary. We are out of the Recession. Now we're in the Great Impoverishment.

You can not balance budgets and retain tax cuts for the ostensible purpose of creating jobs! It is a stimulus hidden in tax mumbo-jumbo. The fact that Republicans and Democrats are doing this right now is a very good indication that they are consciously trying to hide what they are doing, and they will end up doing nothing positive.

It is time to end the self-deception. Rolling up our sleeves when we have nothing is a lot bigger task than rolling them up before you had destroyed everything! Vote Progressive!
