sto26ne Кремль или монастыре

Кремль или монастыре,
они оба сопротивляться ветру и реки.
Мы будем спать за стенами ...
Стены этого или что.
--
kremlin or monastery,
both resist the wind and river.
we shall sleep behind walls...
walls of one or the other.

War and Peace...

You know, Montag, how you were talking about Plerosis and Kenosis as Emptying and Filling respectively...these extremes, these patterns swinging from one to the other? I think the same thing can be seen here. War is Emptying - what do we really achieve? Peace is filling ourselves with the elixir of life and goodwill, the Ambrosia of fulfillment and sustainment.

And that ties in with your above post on God too, and how there really isn't a need to engage in a diatribe of God's nuances and which is the real God, etc. That's why we have all these Holy Wars.

I agree entirely.

I feel we must reach the point where we are aware of the patterns, but no longer feel compelled to articulate and describe them.
When we describe them, such as saying Peace is this-or-that, we concentrate on the "language of description"... someone else may describe it differently, we disagree and suddenly - boom!- we are fighting about it!

It is a gift to be simple and silent in a world where tortorous complexity and constant noise rule.

Lots of times nobody sleeps behind the walls of either, but mounts them with crossbows and boiling oil.
