o pano do paraíso perdeu seus poderes,
os poderes para vestir-nos
com o divino,
e nós andamos cegamente na praia,
nus como turistas estúpidos
a esta terra

the cloth of heaven has lost its powers
the powers to clothe us
with the divine,
and we take a stroll blindly along the beach
naked like silly tourists
to this earth.
