The Outcomes Of Wealth and Social Inequity

Apocalypse
Chapter 6
Verses 5-6
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, "Come and see."
And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, "A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and thou hurt not the oil and the wine".
The poor are the wheat and barley; the rich are the oil and wine.

We shall be put in the scales and measured.

That is all that need to be said here, for the Apocalypse (or Book of Revelations) is the "pulling aside the veil" of the present, where we only see as in a darkling glass... or we cannot see the forest for the trees.

It has often been our practice to put these matters off into the future, so that we might have time to reform ourselves and change our ways... as if the future were amenable to a vengeful god who would use our futures to scourge us with.
But it is the present, the present we think we can see, but whose reality is covered by the veil of "common sense" and "traditions" and the old stories and narratives we have used since childhood.

The Future is Now.
